The Formiche di Grosseto ("Ants of Grosseto") are three islets included in the Tuscan archipelago (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formiche_di_Grosseto). The discovery in 2016 of a garden of Savalia savaglia near the largest islet gave us the opportunity to learn more, with Prof. Carlo Cerrano, the peculiarities of this species and its ecological and biological value.
